{"id":4202,"date":"2022-06-22T10:29:00","date_gmt":"2022-06-22T10:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/presspart.com\/astrazenecas-symbicort-turbuhaler-approved-in-china-as-an-anti-inflammatory-reliever-in-mild-asthma-2\/"},"modified":"2024-02-27T11:12:06","modified_gmt":"2024-02-27T11:12:06","slug":"ht-presspart-unveil-low-gwp-propellant-filling-facility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/presspart.com\/es\/ht-presspart-unveil-low-gwp-propellant-filling-facility\/","title":{"rendered":"H&#038;T Presspart unveil low GWP propellant filling facility"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">H&amp;T Presspart\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.presspart.com\/inhalation-product-technology-center\/\">Inhalation Product Technology Centre (IPTC)<\/a>&nbsp;is pleased to announce the opening of our laboratory facility to support the development of sustainable metered-dose inhalers with low global warming potential (GWP) propellant.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new facility has the ability to fill&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.presspart.com\/products\/\">metered-dose inhalers<\/a>&nbsp;with a range of formulations with both HFA 152a and HFO1234ze low GWP propellants, to support our customers\u2019 development programmes of next generation low GWP metered-dose inhalers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a 25 litre mixing vessel, single stage filling with single or dual fill capability, H&amp;T Presspart\u2019s IPTC can now produce batch sizes up to 2000 cans for in vitro testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Complementarily, IPTC can support customers with product development, analytical services and product transfers to the new propellants for both, solution and suspension type formulations and can advise on pMDI component selection including&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.presspart.com\/products\/mdi-canisters\/\">canister<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.presspart.com\/products\/metered-dose-inhaler-mdi-actuators\/\">actuator<\/a>&nbsp;configurations and suitable valve types.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"723\" src=\"https:\/\/presspart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/o2uk-pic-1024x723.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2731\" srcset=\"https:\/\/presspart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/o2uk-pic-1024x723.png 1024w, https:\/\/presspart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/o2uk-pic-300x212.png 300w, https:\/\/presspart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/o2uk-pic-768x542.png 768w, https:\/\/presspart.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/o2uk-pic.png 1479w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ameet Sule, Director of H&amp;T Presspart\u2019s IPTC commented \u2018 This new facility will be crucial in supporting our customers to lower the environmental footprint and future proof inhalation products as they look to move towards more sustainable low GWP propellants for both current and new pMDI formulations.
