H&T Presspart is pleased to announce we will be hosting a workshop at this year’s RDD USA conference, which is being held in Tucson, Arizona, from the 5-9th May 2024.

The workshop entitled ‘A modular approach to understand the design space of a capsule-based high performance DPI device’ will be delivered by Dr. Mirjam Kobler and Dr. Anselm Ebert from our Business Development team. The workshop will discuss a modular approach to increase the performance of a capsule-based device. The critical quality attributes of the device design will be linked to specific performance output parameters of the design space of the device. To further understand the influence of the device parameters on the performance a case study for a spray-dried formulation will be presented.

H&T Presspart will be also presenting two scientific posters at this year’s event. The first entitled ‘Advancing DPI Technology: A Modular Approach on Optimizing Capsule Movement for Improved Performance’ is a joint poster presentation between H&T Presspart and Hovione Technology. The second poster, presented by our Inhalation Product Technology Centre team is entitled ‘Sustainable Inhalation – Ipratropium HFA-152a pMDI- Actuator Geometry Considerations’.

As well as hosting the workshop, H&T Presspart will be exhibiting at the conference, where we will be showcasing our full range of products including our range of MDI components and dry powder inhaler devices, as well as our full range of drug delivery device development and manufacturing services for the respiratory market.
