H&T Presspart Completes Major ERP Harmonisation and S/4HANA Upgrade Programme

H&T Presspart has successfully completed a major ERP harmonisation and upgrade programme, marking a significant milestone in the company’s digital transformation journey.

Launched in 2024 and delivered over an 18-month period, the programme began with a comprehensive discovery phase to assess the impact and opportunities of transitioning all operational sites onto a single SAP platform. This critical groundwork enabled the business to design a scalable and standardised system architecture aligned with its long-term strategic goals.

Following discovery, the harmonisation programme was executed in three key tranches. The rollout began with PPB, followed by PPT, and concluded with the migration of PPN. The final phase of the programme introduced an upgrade to SAP S/4HANA, bringing the organisation onto a modern, high-performance ERP platform.

A core element of the programme’s success was the strong collaboration across all four sites—PPM, PPB, PPT, and PPN. Teams worked closely to define and adopt a standardised template, demonstrating a unified “one team” approach and a shared commitment to operational excellence.

The business is already beginning to realise the benefits of operating within a harmonised ERP environment. The new system supports more efficient intercompany trade, enhances data consistency, and unlocks opportunities for further optimisation across the organisation.

In addition, the implementation of a modern SAP Fiori user experience platform provides a more intuitive, web-based interface, enabling users to execute business transactions with greater ease and efficiency.
