H&T Presspart Blackburn Reduces Carbon Footprint with Solar Panel Installation
H&T Presspart’s site in Blackburn is proud to announce the installation of 191 solar panels on the roof of its factory, marking a significant step forward in the company’s sustainability strategy. This investment not only demonstrates our commitment to reducing carbon emissions but also highlights our focus on energy efficiency across operations.
The newly installed solar panels are estimated to generate an impressive 73,000 kWh of electricity per year, which will help reduce the factory’s reliance on traditional energy sources. This clean energy production will result in a 15,000 kg reduction in CO₂ emissions annually, equivalent to the environmental impact of planting hundreds of trees.
Driving Sustainable Manufacturing
At H&T Presspart, we recognize the importance of balancing industrial growth with environmental responsibility. The adoption of solar power is part of our broader sustainability goals, ensuring that we contribute to a cleaner, greener future while continuing to deliver quality and innovation for our customers.
This project reflects our long-term vision of reducing our carbon footprint and exploring opportunities for sustainable energy across our sites. By integrating renewable solutions, we are not only improving energy efficiency but also supporting global efforts to combat climate change.
